HEX Tutors Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as in-person or online English Teachers. We offer flexible opportunities for professionals in school teaching, college-level instruction, and specialized areas such as IELTS and PTE preparation. As an online instructor, the tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging, effective English lessons to a diverse range of students, including schoolchildren, college students, and individuals preparing for language proficiency exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct live online English classes for various levels (beginner to advanced), including school and college curricula.
- Design and implement lesson plans that align with students’ learning goals.
- Prepare students for English language proficiency tests, such as IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, and others.
- Utilize digital platforms and educational tools to deliver interactive and engaging lessons.
- Provide regular feedback and assessments to students to track their progress.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for students of all backgrounds.
- Adapt teaching methodologies to suit individual learning styles and needs.
- Collaborate with students, parents, and academic teams to ensure progress and improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in online education and English language teaching.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
- Proven experience in teaching English at The school or college level.
- Certification in TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or other relevant teaching credentials.
- Specialized experience in preparing students for IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, or similar exams is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, or similar).
- Ability to work with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluency in English (Native or near-native proficiency).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with digital learning tools, apps, and multimedia for online teaching.
- Experience working in international teaching environments or with ESL students.
- Creative and innovative teaching techniques.
Work Schedule:
Flexible hours based on your availability and student time zones. Contract and part-time positions are available.
